29 Jan Sanibel Island, FL Beach Photographer | Sanibel Lighthouse Family

This extended family was visiting Sanibel Island in South Florida for the Christmas holiday. They wanted to capture the whole family while everyone was in town together! The holidays, Spring Break and the summer vacationing times brings lots of families down to South Florida – Naples, Marco Island and Sanibel Captiva. It is the perfect time to capture family photos!

This crew was super fun – the littles had a blast playing on the beach in between shots. We captured lots of group shots, grandparents with the grandchildren, grandkids together and each individual family!

It was a beautiful evening with lots of golden sunlight!! We shot down near the lighthouse. It was super hightide, so we couldn’t go right down near the lighthouse as there was not any sand there. We shot down to the right of the lighthouse and started up in the greenery areas and then moved down to the water’s edge. It was a super crowded night because of the holiday week, but I always edit out any people in the backgrounds of my family photos! So it always appears that you have the beach to yourself!
