The N family contacted me as they were all renting a house together on Captiva Island for the holidays. The dad (grandfather now) was the one who found me and planned the whole thing. We talked on the phone and he told me that he had seven granddaughters and they welcomed their first grandson this past year and this was their first big vacation with everyone now that little man was here.

We chose to capture their family session on Captiva right near their rental home on that hour before sunset. We did a ton of images and captured the big group, grandparents with the grandkids, grandkids together, individual family units, and so much more! Grandma and grandpa got a large beautiful, framed print of the big group image for their home and then a ton of digital images to share with the family.

Holidays are the perfect time to capture those extended family sessions as everyone is usually here and together!

Extended family sessions are so much fun! We get a ton of images during our time together, whole group shots, grandparents with grandkids, grandkids together, each family unit separate, all the couples, all the kids solo and so much more! Being together is such a special time to capture those memories and moments for future generations!
